Not Napalm Death

This is an album i have been digging pretty hard latley. Beautifully structured, really subtle yet uplifting melodies. Some horn and banjo use really brings the first 2 tracks to life. If you like any kind of instrumental music this band is definietly something you'll appreciate.

...helps bring me back to Earth after too much Napalm Death.

Napalm Death yo

Considering my recent lack of amazement in the realm of heavy music i haven't really updated anything even vaguely crushing. I stumbled upon the newest Napalm Death album not too long ago and its pretty balls. Their combination of shamelessly seering riffs and intense, energetic drum patterns really helps me out when i can't sit still. I also really love that they aren't afraid to return to the old school D-beat and somehow manage to keep their structures fresh and interesting.

bruuuuuuuuuuutaaaaaaaaaaaaaal.

Guther!

Guther is a German indie pop band that consists of two amazing songwriters. Its got a smooth chill sound but sometimes kicks in with dirty bass tones and tight beats. The female vocals are gorgeous and fit in quite well with the mellow guitar tone.

Check this shit.

The Sea and Cake

So after considering it for awhile i decided to stop being lazy and start a blog to share all the music i've come to enjoy. You can expect all types of music on this blog from electronic and hip hop music to metal and hardcore.

This is the new album by a band called The Sea and Cake who i was lucky enough to catch live last night in Cambridge. It's got some really catchy pop rock jams with some awesome jazzy tone to it. Hope you enjoy!
